- The self-tapping Streaker® Point penetrates through sheathing and into light-gauge metal.
- Use a standard screwgun with a depth sensitive nose piece. Suggested screwgun specification for optimal performance – Size #7 - #8, up to 4,000 RPM.
- For wood, the screw is fully seated when the top of the head is flush with the work surface. The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal a minimum of three full threads.
- Overdriving may result in failure of the fastener or failure of the gypsum board.
Attach sheathing to light-gauge metal up to 33 mil.
